Los pormenores de un viaje pt. 2 (VISA EDITION)

You know you're doing the exotic thing the minute you actually have to get shots, and deal with 3 visas in order to enter a country. To this moment, I have the choice of applying for a transit visa to the EAU, which thankfully just opened their embassy in mexico. while in addition applying for both an Indian and Pakistani visa. The indian mostly because I don't feel like going to Islamabad to apply for a visa specially atfer the whole hooplus with Osama. On the other hand Islamabad would mean more chances of seeing hot marines so...

So I have to go to the Pakistani one, because they don't have a webpage, so there's no way to obtain the relevant paperworks. Neither do the Emirates. Of course, life being life, those embassy are not close by.

My beloved older brother suggest I screw that and travel mex-tij-pudong-lahore. I remind him that chinese visa applications are equally tedious. It's truly the sign of a well-seasoned traveler when you realize that the USA actually has quite a decent visa system (I'm looking at you CANADA).

I think our next grand strategy in Foreign Affaires should be convincing everycountry that we only like to illegally migrate to the NAFTA zone... or convincing those two that the market is pure and strong and totally wants a truly free zone whereas not only products but people can move without frontiers, you know, just so I can stop bitching about VISA procedures.
